No doubt , in my perspective, 2006 was filled with so much drama, so much that it got TOO much. Ironically, all those drama led to amazing friendships i know i'll hold on forever. and i pray to God 2007 will be a better year for me, and to all of my dearest friends. to sum up this entry, i shall end with my new year resolutions. 1) to spend more time with my grandparents 2) treat my brother better. HAHA. 3) study harder 4) attend ALL LECTURES and TUTORIALS. 5) exercise more! in the short run, 6) get sunkissed! AND LASTLY, HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL!
12 days in europe and i missed home so so much. thank goodness the events of the trip KINDA made up for my homesickness. Europe is so much fun, if not for the cold cold winter. i never liked winters. Winters always seem so sad, and lonely, which ends up making you feel nostalgic. Nevertheless, switzerland was one hell of a country to visit. The scenery is so picturesque and just so bloody beautiful.

touched down on Saturday evening and on Sunday, its NEW YEAR'S EVE. yay.
so had a nice little gathering with the friends xx, gerald, dyan, viv and mitch. Went to HONG KONG cafe over at cine for lunch. then it was shopping shopping. the crowd wasnt as bad as i expected it to be. Probably cos the whole of SINGAPORE was heading down to VIVO and ESPLANADE, which i then decided not to contribute to the already bad enough human jam.
so, dinner was with nina, kandis, vic, shawn and jer.
i missed those darlings.
Countdown wasnt exactly that fantastic in town, but oh well, cabbed down to PHUNK BAR soon after. Music was up to standard, and i must say Phunk never fails to get me in the mood.

so, 2006 was one hell of a year.
the major breakup in the whole of the history of the life of Rachel Lei,
new school, new friends.
i met all kinds of people, backstabbers, liars. yet at the same time, made great friends who are such darlings and the things we've been through these few months proves it all doesnt it?
